Sunday Session: September 28th Master Class with Emily

Dear dancers, As many of you know my grandmother just passed somewhat unexpectedly and there is much to do in supporting my family now. I won't be able to be 100% focused on being the best teacher I can be. Pre-reg will be refunded and my apologies for any inconvenience. Keep a look out for something fun later this year. Class Descriptions:

All day special: $40 for both classes 

10am-12pm . $25
Conditioning, Drills and Flexibility:                                                                                   This morning class will focus on strength, stamina, fluidity, and flexibility. Wake up your body and work it out with a variety of dancer's strength training, cardio, drills and stretching. Class will start with an invigorating warm up that progresses to dance movement drills from a variety of disciplines. We'll be focusing on figure 8s and circles, and experimenting with layering and aarms. The last portion of the class will be an extended stretch session! We'll work on full body flexibility, work on partner assisted stretches and give some special attention to our backs. Socks/knee pads are optional for the stretching section.


12-1pm LUNCH 
Feel free to bring a lunch to eat in the studio if you wish to participate.


1-3pm . $25
Dance Drills, Combinations & Choreography:
Afternoon class will be all dance and include drills across the floor, patterns and footwork, stylizations, and working with combinations in a variety of styles. This class will have lots of fun footwork, Jamila Salimpour vocabulary and we'll be using finger cymbals! This is super fun, saucy, and funky. The second half of class we'll work on putting our cymbals and Jamila moves together in a short choreography with a classic 1970s flavor. Class ends with a short cool down and stretch. *Bring your cymbals - no crazy stuff I promise * Cymbals not required for those who don't play*
