April Class Series with Emily
Join for a fun 4 week bellydance class session. $45 for the whole series (paid before or by first class) or $12 drop in per class. Please note there are no refunds/credits. Cash, checks and cards accepted at class. All levels are welcome, please refer to the descriptions below for class content. Tuesdays (April 8, 15, 22, 29)
This 1.5 hour weekly class will start with a comprehensive warm up including strength and flexibility training specific for bellydance movements. The remaining time will be split between technique exercises and working on combinations or short choreographies of various styles. Combinations allow students to start to feel how the individual movements can become a dance, start to learn different stylizations and begin to express the music. The class is an beginner/intermediate level but advanced dancers are welcome and will be given "extra credit" to work on. This class is great to refine your dance and do the work no matter what level you are at. Class ends with a short cool down and stretch.
